Main Responsibilities of the PA and Office Manager

Reception function for office:

  • Answer and screen incoming calls
  • Welcome guests arriving at the office

Day-to-day running of the office, including:

  • Manage team events and entertainment
  • Keep European content up to date on the intranet
  • Order office supplies (stationery, food etc)
  • Manage telephone system
  • First-line IT support (working with offsite IT support)
  • Responsible for health and safety in London office
  • Central point of contact for European travel agent (staff are responsible for their own travel, but this role will provide support when required)
  • Ensure maintenance / building management takes place when needed
  • Ensure that the office and meeting rooms are kept clean and tidy at all times

Other Responsibilities of the PA and Office Manger

  • PA duties to Head of Europe and European COO (diary/meetings, travel, reservations, expenses etc)
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as required (e.g. office moves, fit outs, sourcing/reviewing suppliers)
  • Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required

Requirements of the PA and Office Manager


  • Previous experience of working as an Office Manager/PA is essential
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with Office 365 or other cloud based systems is also essential
  • Experience in an international business, preferably with a significant US component, is highly desirable
  • Customer service experience and/or experience in managing projects would be beneficial
