Assistant Electrical Engineer
Based within the Design and Construction Service at County Hall, Fishergate, Preston. This is an exciting and challenging role for enthusiastic and experienced Electrical Design Engineers to join a vibrant team working closely with our in house multidisciplinary teams of Architects, Surveyors and Structural Engineers delivering a wide range of projects, including complete new schools and extensions, as well as major refurbishment and renewal of existing properties throughout Lancashire.
Assistant Electrical Engineer x 1
£27,394 - £31,288 a year.
37 hours a week. You will carry out the design and management of electrical building services for a range of new buildings, refurbishments and maintenance schemes. You will have experience of delivering technical projects from scheme inception to completion on site, including project management and contract administration of engineering schemes. You will need a thorough knowledge of current standards relating to Electrical Engineering Design including a thorough understanding of health and safety requirements. You will require excellent communications skills and a customer focused approach to service delivery. Most design is undertaken using computer aided design packages and you will be expected to have familiarity with these systems.
