Salary:  £30,480 (point 35)
Permanent -  Full-Time
Base: Skirlaugh, East Riding of Yorkshire

We seek an experienced Senior Learning and Development Officer, to join the learning and development team, based at council offices, Skirlaugh.

The service is responsible for the provision of high quality, responsive and efficient learning and development activities. The service has a wide remit in supporting the council and its workforce in both vocational and academic programmes. You will consult with senior managers to identify corporate, directorate, team and individual learning and development requirements.  Achievement of which will involve research of new and innovative ways of delivering outcomes, embracing technology, design and development of appropriate solutions, monitoring and evaluating activities, projects and reporting on outcomes. With the ability to maintain and expand professional knowledge and skills you will maintain effective working partnerships with internal services and external organisations and advise on commissioning work relating to learning and development. 

The role will involve working with a range of learning and development interventions, from one-to-one coaching, bespoke service requirements to academic programmes delivered in partnership with higher education institutions. You will be qualified to post graduate degree level or equivalent and have experience of development and delivery of up to level 7 in management development programmes.

Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday
