One of the fastest growing Energy Suppliers in the UK is looking to recruit a passionate Sales Executive within their Internal Sales Team.

The Sales Team are responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads and ensuring conversion to contract. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential.

- Contacting new SME business customers to promote their fantastic energy packages
- Using a consultative sales approach, you will understand the needs of their business.
- To quote customers predominately using the company pricing systems, accurately and within set procedures.
- To build up a portfolio of customers and to manage the acquired data effectively.
- To achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators
- To ensure all KPI's are focused on to drive quality and improvements in all aspects of the sales process

Context and Environment:
Operating within a highly competitive SME sector, the main focus of the role is to increase customer and site numbers to United Gas & Power. To ensure value is generated by maximising new business campaigns. Reporting to the Sales Manager and working within a team of 15 based in Leeds to effectively drive sales via agreed sales strategies.

Qualifications / Experience Required:
- Excellent Sales and negotiation skills.
- A proven track record in direct sales.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage calls, maintain records, notes and sales pipeline
- Team player, willing to share ideas and techniques with other team colleagues.
- Minimum of 12 months telesales experience - they would welcome candidates from all sales backgrounds
- Knowledge of the energy sector is useful but not essential
