Bolton Lads and Girls Club (established in 1889) is the pioneer of successful, needs-led and community based youth provision, for all young people, offering a range of programmes and activities that transform young people’s lives in Bolton. Our purpose-built, flagship venue, based in the heart of the town, welcomes in excess of 4,000 young people every year aged 8 to 19 (up to 21 with disabilities). In essence, we give young people ‘Somewhere to go, Something to do, and Someone to talk to’
We are looking to appoint a SEN Worker to support and engage young people with Disabilities and Learning Disabilities within Bolton Lads and Girls Club youth club provision, taking into account young people’s individual needs.
You will deliver an exciting, engaging and inclusive activity programme that will challenge, stimulate and provide new opportunities for young people who attend open access youth work activity, in line with the Bolton Lads & Girls Club’s Youth Club Strategic Operational Plan. In addition, they will work closely with the Youth Service Lead to develop a diverse activity programme to meet the needs of the young people aged 8-12 in Junior Club or Senior Club 12-19 (up to 21 for disabled young people).
The role is Part-time/Sessional - (Evenings/Weekends).
