GENERAL BUILDER (Multi-skilled)Wycombe Abbey seeks to recruit a multi-skilled General Builder to work as part of the School’s Maintenance Team. The post holder will carry out routine repairs, planned maintenance and assist with small refurbishment projects. All of which will be carried out to high standard as we maintain the diverse range of facilities on this historic estate.

Hours: 41 hours per week, with a standard 8-hour day Monday to Friday that works between
the hours of 7am and 7pm. A rotation of start times ensures maintenance staff are always
available to support the School community. Some out-of-hours work will be required and the
post holder will form part of the emergency on-call system. Uniform will be provided and free
lunches are available during term time. Some Saturday mornings during the term make up
the 41 hours

DELIVERY DRIVER
Wycombe Abbey seeks to recruit a Driver to move goods and people, both within and outside of the school site. Duties will include moving laundry, furniture and luggage by lorry, driving pupils and staff by minibus or car, assisting pupils and parents by carrying luggage, moving furniture for examinations and other events, and any other duties to assist in the smooth running of the School.

The successful candidate will have a full driving license, a positive “can-do” attitude, the ability to lift, climb ladders and work at height, and strong customer service skills. Experience driving larger vehicles is desirable but full training can also be provided.

Hours: 41 hours per week, including some Saturday mornings. You will also form part of an
on-call system for emergencies out of normal School Hours.
Salary: Circa £20k per annum.
