This company is one of the UKs oldest channel focused ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and a rapidly growing force in the Telecoms industry. This company provides over 10,000 businesses with connections to high-speed Internet, VoIP telephony, Cloud services and Data centre solutions across the UK.

They are looking for a Solutions Account Executive to work with their ambitious team to sell their telecommunications solutions and technology offerings. They need a "hunter" type who can develop new accounts in a business-to-business environment. Your prospects will be mainly telecommunications companies who are looking to add a quality service to their portfolio or replace their existing channel partner.

They will provide you with exceptional marketing support, ongoing training, a fantastic uncapped commission structure, great basic salary, and also an attractive benefits package.

As a Solutions Account Executive, you will be responsible for new business development. This activity-driven "hunting" role will require that you focus on cold calling new customers to sell our technology offerings. Whilst you will be based at our Portsmouth offices you will also spend time away from the office meeting clients.

Your specific duties will include:

- Identifying, contacting and building relationships with prospective customers through a combination of telephone cold calls, networking, and referrals
- Writing and submitting accurate and timely orders following the established sales process
- Effectively utilising internal resources to customise and present solutions
- Maintaining accurate and timely customer status and forecasts utilising the CRM system
- Building and maintaining relationships with contacts and lead sources

As a Solutions Account Executive, you must be highly self-motivated, goal-oriented and driven to exceed expectations. You must also have solid organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills as well strong analytic and problem-solving skills. It is also important that you have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills as well as the ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of customers.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years sales experience
- 1+ years of experience prospecting and generating leads through cold calling
- Experience within telecoms will be advantageous

Other Qualifications
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, multi-system environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to clearly and effectively set goals and then attain them
- Ability to work independently
- Track record of success in business to business sales
- Computer literacy
- Must maintain quota levels
