Our client provides a range of social care, special education, community support and consultancy services in the North West of England. We are one of the North West’s largest providers of residential homes for children from short-term emergency care to long-term placements. Their fostering service provides family placements in the North West and neighbouring regions.

Due to the ongoing development of the residential services, they are now looking to appoint a number of experiences and qualified Residential Social Care Workers to join them and support the home’s Registered Manager and Assistant Manager in the effective management of the home.

Residential Support Workers will work as part of a residential care team and provide support to young individuals with their physical, medical and emotional social care needs. You will conduct behavioural analysis of young people including completing individual behaviour support plans, shift leading, analysing and presenting data whilst developing appropriate person-centre plans to support service user independence. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, essential standards and Ofsted, you will contribute to the writing of internal and external reviews whilst working hands-on with service users to ensure best practice and support for the team.

They currently have opportunities in their homes supporting young people with emotional, behaviour difficulties and also in their homes supporting young people with learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (CCYP) or equivalent and have significant childcare experience.

With the passion to contribute to the development of services for children / young people, you will have a multi-disciplinary approach to meeting clinical, physical and emotional needs and have previously worked with statutory and voluntary agencies.
