Position: Operations and Shipping Manager - Wine
Location: London
Salary: £45000 - £50000 per annum + Benefits

Our client is a well established wine company who are currently seeking to recruit a driven and tenacious Operations and Shipping Manager for their vibrant team based in London.
This will be an all-encompassing position managing a team of 5 to ensure that stock is shipped to the UK OTIF and inventory holding is optimal. The successful candidate will be responsible for replenishment of c1,000skus.This is an excellent opportunity for career development.
Major duties will cover:
* Managing the end-to-end supply chain through to OTIF delivery in the UK
* Leading and managing the supply chain team
* Demand planning and forecasting using Microsoft Navision
* Increase OTIF levels and optimise inventory across the network
* Formulate pricelists and promotions by accurately forecasting stock availability
* Ensure shipping is done in a cost effective and efficient manner
* Input into strategy and development of the Shipping department
* Interfacing with the manufacturing, 3PL, freight forwarders and Warehouses
Background and competencies required:
* Degree Educated or equivalent
* A strong understanding of wine supply chains with at least 5 years+ experience
* Line management experience of direct teams and distributors
* Microsoft Navision experience is desirable
* Highly computer literate - advanced excel
* WSET
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
