Tile Merchandiser - Glazebury

Due to rapid expansion an exciting opportunity is available for a Tile Merchandiser to join a fast-paced, multiple award-winning company with bathroom and tile showrooms throughout the UK, and a thriving online/ecommerce business. Based in Glazebury, Warrington, the successful Tile Merchandiser will join the company’s team to work in a happy, stimulating and challenging environment, earning a salary of £21,000 to £23,000, depending on experience.                                                              

As a Tile Merchandiser you will be responsible for the tile merchandising in the company’s group of stores. The role covers the creation and update of tile displays within existing and new stores and counters at various locations around the UK. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 

• Creating ceramic tile product displays of various sizes and types within the stores and counters around the UK to help promote our comprehensive product range of wall and floor tiles and to demonstrate the aesthetics and texture of the tiles.
• Tiling the display boards by using hot glue gun/silicon and cutting ceramic tiles to size (includes heaving lifting)
• Merchandising of the tile products with labels and POS.
• Meeting with the Head of Tiles to discuss progress of outstanding jobs and update on future jobs to be assigned
• General administration duties

To be considered for the Tile Merchandiser position you must have the ability to work unsupervised with a degree of flexibility in approach to work and working hours as occasional early starts or late finishes may occur. In addition, you must possess the following key skills and experience:
 

• Ability to work in a neat and accurate manner
• Clean driving license is essential- vehicle provided
• Travel within UK will be required with hotel stop overs
• Ability to work as part of a team and own initiative
• Close attention to detail
• Good communication skills
