This growing property maintenance company is looking for experienced and competent Multi Traders to work in their team. They are a young and growing team and are looking for exceptional people with a high quality of work to help exceed their client's expectations.
They are based in Farnham, Surrey and the majority of the work will be in Surrey, South West London and London. Please do not apply if you are not prepared to travel throughout these areas on a daily basis.
They work for a range of letting agents, private landlords and residential and commercial clients so the work is very varied. It is typically maintenance works from handyman services, small repairs right through to small works such as kitchen/bathroom installations and internal refurbishments.
You will be required to have your own tools and ideally a van however a van would/may be available upon successful completion of a probationary period. They are committed to delivering a quality product and service and so excellent rates of pay are available for the right people.
The ideal candidate will have a good all round ability and experience of working in either a maintenance role or on residential refurbishments. You will need a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Multi Trader.
You will need to have all road "multi trade" skills and be able to carry out the following types of work -
- General carpentry - second fix woodwork, hanging doors etc
- Floor Laying
- Plaster boarding
- Tiling
- Basic plumbing
Applicants must:
- Have a strong work ethic
- Enjoy quite varied work
- Be able to think on their feet and problem solve
- Be a team player with good communication skills
- Be happy to work alone
- Have good organisational skills
- Have good time management
- Fluent in English
- Hard working
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in trade
- Full UK driving license
