Job Title: Community Support Workers
Salary: £15,507 (point 11) pro rata

We have six part-time permanent vacancies in the Community Support Service, six posts for Re-ablement and one post for carer relief service.
Re-ablement
3x18 hours pm shift
3x24 hours pm shift
Duties include working out in the community with adult customers within their own homes, supporting them with daily living tasks and assisting them to gain or regain skills that enable them to maximise their independence.
Carer Relief Dementia sitting and Carers Emergency Cover:
20 hours with expected emergency standby duty
Duties include working out in the community with adult carers and customers within their own homes, supporting the carers to have time away from the caring role. The Carers Emergency Cover offers emergency support to the cared for person supporting them with daily living tasks, until the carer returns home.
We are also seeking motivated and enthusiastic people who wish to be considered to be casual workers to our team.
Numeracy and literacy are essential as you will need to produce confidential written documentation.
You will be expected to attend all mandatory training and there is an opportunity to complete NVQ Health and Social Care Level 2.
The ability to travel across a wide geographical area is necessary for which you will require transport and an allowance for mileage is payable.
You will be required to work flexibly as part of a fixed shift pattern operating between the hours of 7.30am to 10pm including weekends and bank holidays (copies of shift patterns can be supplied if requested).
