Do you fancy being a journalist in a busy and exciting digital newsroom and building a new brand in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK?

The Cornishman, West Briton and Cornish Guardian newspapers are launching a brand new website and looking for a senior reporter to join us and help us build our audience. 

We want a digital journalist who can spot a brilliant story, turn it around quickly and accurately and make it connect with people.

You will be as brilliant at working a patch and building up good contacts as you are at using social media to engage with your communities and build a following.

The ideal candidate will have already gained experience as a senior reporter in a newsroom, will have full legal training and shorthand, as well as a proven track record in digital journalism.

You will need to be highly-motivated and must be able to work on your own initiative, bringing in original daily news, feature and picture ideas, finding creative ways to tell those stories digitally and sell them to our audience.
