PR Manager

FINTEC recruit is seeking a PR Manager with our prestigious client based in Edinburgh. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £30k - £35k depending on experience. The role will be working within the Food and Drinks industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with incredibly exciting food & drink brands in a creative environment. This position provides you with designated time to hone your skills through paid development time

Role and Responsibilities:

As a PR Manager your responsibilities will include the following:

• Working on a range of client accounts within the food and drink arena

• Developing & maintaining great relationships with UK-wide and international media and securing excellent coverage

• Writing flawless content for news releases, literature and multi-media

• Creating & managing brand partnerships that will see you act as an ambassador for our clients and their campaigns

• Client management; developing and maintaining strong relationships and providing creative ideas and advice

• Event management

• New business strategies; brainstorming ideas, contributing to strategic plans and pitching

Requirements:

The successful candidate for the PR Manager role will have:-

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience of working in communications, ideally agency-side within food and drinks sectors

• Very well networked with Scottish media & ideally UK-wide media

• A proactive, motivated and team-player attitude - always happy to get stuck in and go the extra mile

• Flawless writing and communication skills

• Commitment to delivering exceptional creative campaigns which are results' driven

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask

• Ability to cope with pressure & a 'can-do' ambitious spirit
