New Business Coordinator

Location: Central Bristol BS1

Salary: £22 - £26,000 + D.O.E

Contract: Full time, permanent

Nicholls Stevens Financial Services Limited was established in 1986. We specialise in giving retirement advice to a wide range of personal and corporate clients

The Role

The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for co-ordinating all new business; from getting quotes, producing reports, through to the processing. This will involve allocating work between themselves and a colleague, monitoring progress of work so as to deal with any problems which may hold things up and producing reports summarising current positions.

Duties/Responsibilities of the New Business Coordinator:

  • Receiving all new business and allocating within the team
  • Ensuring all work is completed within timescales
  • Producing reports presenting quotes and summarising investment options
  • Trouble shooting any problems and raising complaints where necessary

This role involves dealing with both client and business relationships. You will need to have basic computing skills in Word, Outlook and Excel.

Requirements of the New Business Coordinator

Knowledge of assurance, investments and pensions is essential and the ideal candidate will have experience working for an IFA.

The ideal applicant would be able to organise and prioritise their workload effectively.  They should be proactive in identifying and solving day to day problems which may arise and be able to work in a pressurised environment from time to time.

Qualifications/Experience of the New Business Coordinator:

  • Supervisory experience would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of financial services is a must
  • We give credit for relevant and up to date qualifications in the financial services industry
  • You have the option to undertake in-house training in order to take professional exams
