Payroll Offi cer

We are seeking a full-time Payroll Officer to join our busy Finance Team in the Bursary at Loughborough Endowed Schools.
The Payroll Officer will be required to fully process the monthly payroll, incorporating new starters, leavers, salary changes and deductions. You will also deal with payroll queries and be responsible for providing relevant information to authorities such as HMRC and the Department for Work and Pensions.
Applicants should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have extensive experience of a computerised payroll system. IT skills are important (Microsoft Excel and Word) with fast and accurate keyboard skills, along with the ability to use your own initiative.
Hours of work are: Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.00pm (one-hour lunch).
This vacancy is a full-time post and not term-time only.
