Engineering Development Technician

We require an Engineering Development Technician, working various shift patterns.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all engineering activities associated with the injection moulding department. This is a multi-skilled role with an electrical bias responsible for machine and robot installations, and the design and manufacture of special purpose machinery and jigs and fixtures used in the injection moulding department.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers including Programming and Fanuc Robots, who understand the Injection Moulding Process. The ability to use Lathes, Milling, Drilling machines and other equipment to fine tolerances, and able to read technical drawings and build equipment from these. Candidates must be educated to ONC (or equivalent) in an Engineering related discipline.
