An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our Community Regeneration Team and to be part of an award winning and innovative Housing Association in South Wales. We are looking for a Tenancy Ready Officer to deliver training to prospective tenants and licensees to ensure they have the required skills to maintain and sustain a tenancy.

The Tenancy Ready Officer will work with applicants on the Homes4u housing register and will also be required to develop a life skills project. A crucial part of the role will be the development of relationships with Homes4U partnership staff so the ability to manage projects and assess delivery outcomes is essential for this role.

Proven experience of delivering training and support is essential for this role, along with a basic knowledge of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014 and a good knowledge of the Welfare Reform Agenda. You will also need to be able to design and deliver bespoke training solutions to individual customers and monitor the outcomes and impact of these. Excellent communication skills are essential for the role as are great administration and record keeping and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
