Our client is looking for an IQA Manager / Quality Assurer Manager for the Birmingham area.

You will be office based 4 days of the week and home or field based 1 day of the week.

You will be an experienced, qualified Assessor with the CAVA / TAQA, A1 or D32/D33. You should also hold a verifying qualification - D34, V1 or IQA.

You are required to have excellent organisational and people skills and have the ability to lead a team in order to fulfil the policies and practices of the Organisation. You will be overseeing this small area team in its implementation of the smooth running of the Organisation and the ethos of the role is to be pro-active; on the frontline averting any imminent problems that could occur with Assessors' / processes. There will be opportunities for growth and expansion of this role.

Your duties will be:

* Support as required for preparation of audits
* Support as required for preparation of observations with Assessors
* Support the preparation for EV visits
* Support EV observations with Assessors
* New Assessor interview / inductions
* Conduct probationary reviews / appraisals and observations
* Implement disciplinary process when instructed
* Monitor Assessors Leave in your designated area of authority- forward all holiday requests to Senior Lead IV/QA Manager
* Train new Assessors
* Prepare and deliver group training meetings
* Troubleshoot problems / complaints with learners and mangers
* Chase Assessors who are not keeping to their set targets
* Visit problem learners who require extra support
* Sort out problems with Assessors who are not getting paperwork back in a timely manner
* Look after caseloads when an Assessor leaves or is on sick leave
* Monitor Assessors' diaries
* Monitor Assessors Forskills / ICQ
* Monitor Assessors CT and RT
* General support for Assessors and IVs
* Any additional ad hoc duties as and when required within remit of job role.

About the employer:

The company have a head office in Birmingham although they operate throughout the UK. They employ around 20 Admin staff and 50 Assessors.

The company offer training in Health and Social Care, Business Administration, Customer Service, Management and Team Leading predominately.

Office hours: - 9 - 5 Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 4pm Friday. Flexibility required

Holidays: 20 days per annum + 8 days public holiday

Salary:£20,000 to 23,000 per annum

Travel:Home & field based role with travel throughout the Birmingham area. Business mileage paid
