Our client, a leading supplier of technical fasteners and components to global industry, is seeking to fill the position of Commercial Administrator with an enthusiastic, organised individual, of strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. This position reports to the Commercial Manager and has responsibility of ensuring the timely completion of customer tenders.

The Commercial Administrator will fill a vital role within the Commercial team; the role will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

* To support the Commercial Team in ensuring that all projects are completed and submitted within customer requested timescales.
* Managing the request for quotation process from creation through to spreadsheet entry and comparison.
* Create and maintain good relationships with our client's current supplier base ensuring best price is negotiated at all times.
* Purchasing support.
* Assist in maintaining supplier contacts on the internal computer system.
* Support our client with additional projects as and when required.

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience in a purchasing role preferred but not essential
* Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
* Good communicator
* Good attention to detail
* Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
* Friendly personality and team player
* Strong organisational skills
* Enthusiastic, determined and committed, with a willingness to go the extra mile to meet deadlines.
