Customer communication advisor/administrator

R&M Utility Ltd is looking for an experienced Customer communication advisor/administrator. This is predominately an office based role at our Head Office near Exeter.

This role will require contacting of customers, maintaining accurate records of discussions and correspondence with customers, methodical data input and general administration involved with all aspects of customer care.

We are looking for an excellent communicator with proven administrative and IT skills and a first class team player who is flexible and multifunctional.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills that allow you to inform, help and advise customers clearly and to liaise effectively to gain reliable and prompt feedback
  • Listening skills to accurately interpret customers' requirements and their feedback
  • Confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy when dealing with difficult customer situations
  • Liaise with operational staff to maintain accurate customer records
  • Motivational skills and an ability to work as a pivotal role within a team - ‘can do' approach
  • Creative thinking, to help improve the customer experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Capable of understanding client and company requirements
  • Good communication with employees and clients
  • Good IT skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with a particular emphasis on spreadsheets and databases
  • Contribute towards generating an effective and orderly office based working environment
  • General operational support functions and assist the CRM manager and team with additional general duties as may be required.

Salary £16,000 to £18,000.
