Based in Chelmsford, we are a leading provider of quality and affordable housing across Essex.
As part of our multi-skilled team, you will carry out plumbing repairs and renewals to bathrooms and wet rooms in CHP owned properties and other dwellings, as well as works in other associated trades as required.
Qualified to City and Guilds Level 2, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent, you will have a track record of working within a housing service/building maintenance environment, or have served a relevant apprenticeship. You will also hold a Gas Safe Qualification (CCN1 including cookers). Having worked in occupied homes, you will be able to produce work to a high standard and to manual handling/health and safety requirements. Self-motivated and fully committed to customer service, you will also be able to demonstrate proven skills complementary to plumbing works. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
The salary difference during probation will accrue and a backdated payment made on successful completion of the probationary period.
