Clerk to the Board of Trustees
Required for a post October half term start

A payment of £350 per full Trustee meeting, £230 for every finance meeting and £75 for every other sub-committee meeting will be made.

£10 per hour will be paid for any additional work that is required after that.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly skilled professional to become our Clerk to the Board of Trustees.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience required to succeed in the role are:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Grade B, or above, in GCSE English Language.
  • Experience of working in a highly confidential environment.
  • IT literate including word processing and spreadsheet skills, use of internet to access relevant information, email, etc.
  • Evidence of ability to write high-quality reports, take comprehensive and detailed notes, as well as write and effectively distribute minutes after every full and
  • sub-committee meeting.
  • A good understanding of school-related data and finance.
  • A good understanding of the legal framework governing public bodies with examples being: FOI Act, Equalities Act, Safeguarding and Child Protection requirements and Data Protection.
