Looking for an excellent opportunity to join a growing Cloud Voice company?

This leading provider of Hosted Telephone Systems, part of a large European group, currently has a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial candidate who is looking to grow in a multifaceted sales role. Working from their St. Albans office, located in the town centre, your primary duties will be to generate new business and seek opportunities with existing clients.

You will be proactive in generating and following-up new leads whilst demonstrating product knowledge and a high level of business integrity. Your performance in this role will be rewarded based on your success in achieving sales targets. Understanding of telephony technology and general IT skills would be advantageous but not essential.

In return, the position will provide the right candidate with a generous package including uncapped commission and excellent growth opportunities whilst gaining exposure into various aspects of the business.

Role Description:

- generate new sales leads and follow-up on existing business contacts
- create opportunities for up-selling
- process orders to completion
- build internal database of clients
- attend industry and business networking events
- run product demonstrations remotely and on-site
- produce weekly and monthly sales reports

The successful candidate will most likely possess:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great telephone sales skills and customer facing abilities
- Good problem solving
- Fast learner
- Driving licence and use of a car

The successful candidate is likely to develop, with time, into a full sales role with exposure to the entire product life cycle.

This is a permanent position, with an initial probationary period, paid business expenses, 25 days holiday, paid overtime and pension scheme. Relevant training will be provided. Salary dependent upon experience.

Because of the nature of the work you may be asked to travel to customer premises and therefore it will be beneficial to be based at commutable distance from St. Albans.
