This company is recruiting for new Business Development Executives and Business Development Managers to join their lively Claydon, Suffolk sales office

The position will involve speaking with marketing contacts and senior decision makers at companies of all sizes and across all industries, in order to sell Direct Marketing solutions that they offer. You will be selling lead generation and data focused marketing services for consumers or businesses within their ideal target market.

This is not just a sales role and will involve a lot of client contact and account management. Initially there will be a lot of cold calling required in order to build up your client base, but once achieved this becomes a much smaller part of your role. Calls would be unscripted and are more about identifying a need and building a rapport with prospects.
The position is mainly office based, however, you need to be comfortable with face to face meetings too as you will be expected to attend client meetings.

To be effective within this role you need to be able to think outside the box and grasp a really good understanding of your prospects, their business, and who their customers are.

You will need to gain new clients, cross sell products/services, account manage, problem solve, manage compliance issues, and almost act in a consultancy capacity in order to find the best solutions for your clients.

Experience within the B2B sector would be preferred but is not essential. Above all they are looking for organised, focused and motivated people who can manage their workloads and sales activity with minimal supervision. This will include; researching to find sales leads/prospects, cold prospecting, managing existing accounts effectively, keeping the CRM system updated, staying abreast of your sales pipeline and general admin.

You will need to possess excellent relationship building skills, be tenacious and be able to work under pressure to hit realistic monthly sales targets.

This is a challenging sales & account management role, but for the right candidates who are driven and successful, it holds great rewards!

- Initial starting salary of GBP17,000 - GBP25,000 dependent on experience.
- Very attractive uncapped commission package (much higher than most of their competitors)
- Realistic first year OTE of GBP28,000 - GBP40,000 including commission, but this is uncapped.
- Various monthly, quarterly and yearly bonuses in place (additional to commission).
- Comfortable working hours of 9.30am-5.30pm
