National Account Manager
Home based, Covering the UK

Our client is a manufacturing business, who provides personalised, bespoke interior design solutions for commercial and domestic properties who are now recruiting for an experienced National Account Manager to join their thriving company. Their innovative approach to their products and wide client base forecast for significant growth.
Position Summary:
As National Account Manager you will effectively manage and achieve sales growth across the existing customer base and maximise all potential opportunities for new product listings and generate new business.
This is will be achieved through;
• Achieving set new business targets and the overall companies business goals
• Driving SKU profitability, promotional profitability and overall account profitability
• Delivering incremental sales through new product listings, promotions plans, secondary location and category management
• Consistently identifying new business / new product opportunities and owning an account plan that drives strategy for a rolling 3 year period
• Managing ranges to ensure stocking levels and the product offer are in line with company / strategy
• Ensuring account contracts are legally binding / account planning documents are populated monthly and up to date
• Monitoring internal procedures to provide best possible customer service to accounts and their customers via relevant channels
Who are we looking for?
• Experience to manage at national account level, involving the handling of senior account relationships
• Good standard of education & excellent written / communication skills
• Excellent personal negotiation/selling skills, with ability to think strategically and analytically
• Experience in a fast paced sales or customer service role
• IT proficient with the ability to learn new programmes
• Experience preparing and analysing reports
• Must be pro-active and able to project manage
• An understanding of marketing principles and an ability to understand and interpret market analysis
