The Company:
Our client is a leading Automation and Drives repair company operating from two service centres based in Slough and Manchester. Their business is the diagnosis and repair of industrial power electronics, which includes AC and DC drives, Soft-starts and Servo drives.
They are now looking to employ IT Support staff (based at their Manchester site), offering support to both the Slough Office, and Manchester office.
The IT Support Role:
This IT Support position calls for a highly committed, determined and well-motivated person who is committed to the objectives of the business.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the role is to provide IT support to the Company Group networks.
The key tasks of this IT Support role will be as follows:

- Maintaining desktop services for all sites, including head office;
- Improving the group connectivity and communication through innovative solutions;
- Improving reliability and eliminating downtime;
- Improving security of all the systems
- Ad hoc IT based projects;
- Mobile device management;
- Hardware support & Installation; Switches, PC’s, Wireless Security;
- File sharing, Firewall Setup, Antivirus;
- Asset Management; Diagrams, Documentation and Training manuals
- Travelling to all sites; Remote Support
- System administration
