Production / Gutroom Manager

Location: Norfolk

The Position

Applications are invited for a Gutroom Manager on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday - Friday, 48 hours per week.

Managing an existing team of approximately 15 production operatives, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running, and continued optimisation of the Gutroom operation; ensuring high standards of production and finished product quality are maintained at all times.

The successful candidate will be required to maintain contact with other company sites and with the Management Team on a regular basis, providing management reports and data analysis with regards to production processes and outputs, as required.

The Person

- Experience of production processes, preferably within the meat processing/production industry.
- Good levels of written and verbal communication
- IT literate including use of Internet and Email, with confidence in Microsoft packages; specifically Word and Excel.
- People management experience, ideally at Team Leader level or above, including familiarity with basic personnel issues
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly, as required.
- Awareness of Health and Safety legislation and its application within the workplace; specifically a factory environment

Basic Salary: £430 per week plus overtime and Attendance bonus
