Policy and Research Officer (Disabled person – Social Model definition)

DW is a national Disabled People’s Organisation (DPO) and given the job requirements it is specifically recruiting a disabled person to represent it as Policy and Research Officer.
We seek and exceptional candidate with proven policy and research experience and demonstrable commitment to achieving the rights, equality and independence of disabled people. In this role you will use your substantial skills to effect change in public policy and influence policymakers through the development of strong evidence-based policy thinking and positions that are integrated with our influencing and communications activity.
DW offers the opportunity to play a key role in a high profile national organisation that represents the views of DPOs to government with the aim of informing and influencing policy.
