This teaching assistant role requires someone who can support pupils within a classroom setting on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. The pupils you will be working with will be behind their peers because of a variety of reasons such as learning difficulties or behavioural issues and with your high quality support they will have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Responsibilities
Supporting learners with additional needs.
Supporting the class teacher with academic support.
Some assessments on progress levels of learners.
Managing behaviour in all lessons and around school.

Requirements
Previous experience in a primary school, or a school setting where learners need additional support.
Relevant qualifications useful - any experience level would be considered if the candidate has the right personality and is adaptable and flexible with a willing to learn new skills.
Must have at least two valid professional references (from working with children) and be able to pass Randstad's compliance checks (which include having a valid DBS in place as well as ID and eligibility to work in the UK).
