Head Chef – (Potential step-up from Sous Chef)

Salary in region of £30k per annum, inclusive of tips

5 days per week, split-shifts an option

Our client is currently seeking a Head Chef for an excellent opportunity based in their Bar & Bistro Restaurant in Dunmow, Essex (CM6). 

Essential Criteria:
• Experience of working as a Head Chef or Sous Chef within pub / bar / restaurant.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, deal with issues as they arise and
  contribute in all areas of managing a small kitchen and providing a great food service.

Key duties and responsibilities will include but are not restricted to;
• Ensuring the food service achieves maximum efficiency, achieving a high standard of
  customer satisfaction at all times.
• Responsibility for food procurement, preparation, cooking, presentation and customer
• Working with the Manager to review menu costings and planning for seasonal
  business fluctuations.
• Ensuring all HACCP, Food Safety and Health & Safety Legislation requirements are
  adhered to at all times.
