To qualify for the role you will have a minimum of a Grade C in English Language and Maths GCSE, a minimum of 280 UCAS points and either have obtained or will be on track to get a 2.1 degree. If you obtained your qualifications in Scotland then you need a minimum of 5 National 4/5 qualifications including Maths and English, 260 UCAS points across 4 Highers or Advanced Highers, plus a 2.1 degree or on track to get that. As well as the qualifications we also look for passion, personality and originality. You will be looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a leading business while studying towards a professional qualification.

As part of the Employer Services team in Guildford, you will be challenged by varied and interesting work and develop the skills required to become a trusted advisor to your clients. Trainees become involved in client work very quickly, assisting Semi-Seniors and Seniors in providing a range of outsourced accounting solutions to a portfolio of high value clients. Key tasks will include processing purchase and sales ledger invoices, preparing bank reconciliations, arranging payments, assisting in the preparation of monthly and yearly statutory accounts along with management accounts packs, cashflow forecasts, and VAT returns, plus general bookkeeping and administrative support.

As well as internal training and on-the-job mentoring you will have the opportunity to train towards AAT qualification, with support provided post-qualification ensuring you are well equipped to enjoy a successful and satisfying career with the business.
