Their Wimbledon auction centre are looking for a number of Operations Assistants to join them. All roles are permanent and they have a full time, flex and shift opportunities available.  

About the Role

The Operations Assistant role is very varied and you may be required to carry out many different tasks. You will be working within the yard operation and may be asked to arrange and support the organisation and display of vehicles prior to auction, making sure all vehicles are correctly presented and ready for the sale. Providing invaluable support to the yard team, you could also drive vehicles around the auction site and through the sale, adhering to HSE standards and safe driving practices at all times.

You may also be required to inspect cars and commercial vehicles, taking photographs of the vehicles and producing accurate and detailed reports for use in the auction process and by customers. You’ll also make sure that the onsite process for key storage is followed so that keys can be tracked and traced.

About You

You will have previous experience of a customer facing role and the ability to drive a wide variety of vehicles with all types of ignition procedures and transmissions. With basic knowledge of HSE legislation, you will love being busy and have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude when it comes to getting a job done. With the ability to work to tight deadlines, you will enjoy working as part of a team and know what great customer experience looks like. Basic mechanical knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given.
