Are you looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work in our brand new Community Building and Extra Care Scheme?
Our client is a £20 million investment into the Old Trafford area, which aims to "create a vibrant, sustainable community, with quality housing, excellent environment, and good connections to employment opportunities together with improved retail and community facilities.
They open in Old Trafford next October, it will feature and the community space will feature a cafe, pharmacy, health care facilities, library, activity hall, nursery, business units and more. There will also be 81 extra care residential apartments which will provide older and more vulnerable people with high quality homes for them to live in independently.
They are currently looking for an experienced supported living professional to manage the Extra Care Provision when it opens. During the run up to opening this will include assisting in developing the care and support offer, leading the application and allocation processes for the scheme, and facilitating coproducing services with potential residents.
To ensure the housing offer works in partnership with the community space, they need someone with a can do attitude who is interested how housing for older people can integrate with the local community, enjoys working as part of a team, and has a good knowledge of co delivery/production.
You will also be experienced in providing service for older people with a variety of support needs, and be keen to promote independence through person centered practice. Speaking a Community Language would also be an advantage.
