Position: Account Manager (CT Division)
Location: Horwich, Bolton, Lancashire
Salary: 37.5 Hours Per Week, Full Time, £19,217 - £21,052 (Dependent on Experience)

The Company:
Recognised as a leading supplier of veterinary, medical and laboratory equipment, our client is seeking to appoint an Account Manager (CT Division).

Working in the Clinical Trials Division of a medical equipment company, you will be required to provide a high level of customer service to bring in new customers.  Day – to – day tasks will be focused on achieving new sales orders. You will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process, including generating and closing sales and rental opportunities. There will also be some after sales service required. 

This Account Manager role requires applicants to be able to handle a high and varied workload with efficiency and accuracy. You must be highly organised and be able to work in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Account Manager (CT Division):
  • Provide customer service and develop new sales
  • Developing estimates from calls and online queries
  • Have good product and accessories knowledge to support targeted selling and upselling
  • Work closely with the Purchasing Manager to source products on request
  • Have an engaging sales pitch that recognises the holistic service they provide
  • Manage opportunities and provide follow up calls to all quotations
  • Develop customer relations
  • Generate new opportunities through curtesy calls
  • Provide ongoing sales support
  • Develop new leads and establish contacts, this may include attending medical conferences to enhance the Woodley experience
Key Skills Required:
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Able to present relevant written and verbal information in a concise format
  • Strong diplomatic skills
  • Able to converse with all levels of staff from within the organisation
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Able to be flexible and readjust plans, able to prioritise work within set deadlines
  • Excellent IT and keyboard skills, to produce self-generated information
  • Being able to support across U.S and UK offices in an effective timeframe
The Account Manager:
You will have a proven track record in a similar role, be computer literate, have sales experience and be commercially orientated. It is essential that you have the capacity to work with colleagues at all levels, have the ability to work as part of a team, and the ability to work on own initiative whilst maintaining team approach. The successful candidate must have exemplary personal standards of conduct, and the ability to work under pressure.
