Business Manager - Incubator Bristol £70,000+ package d.o.e.

Exciting opportunity to work with Bristol based entrepreneurs and start-up businesses

The Role

This is an exciting time to be joining the company; whilst the Founder has a clear vision for the Incubator, this role needs an individual who has the ideas, energy and skills to help shape and drive its future. As Incubator Manager you will have a wide-ranging brief - you'll be responsible for developing the programme, building a network of business contacts and then motivating and managing each new group of entrepreneurs who require support. Your ultimate KPI and satisfaction will be seeing your programmes enable these entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into sustainable businesses that make a positive difference to people and their communities.

The Company

Founded by a successful local businesswoman, this new Business Incubator will provide investment, infrastructure and support to fledgling businesses in Bristol and the surrounding area. The Incubator will provide energy, business expertise and resources to start-ups that drive positive social impact and make a difference to people and communities.

Working with a cohort of a dozen start-ups, the twice-a-year Incubator programme will provide office facilities, and a combination of structured and unstructured training, mentoring and events to help entrepreneurs develop credible business plans and gain necessary future investment.

The Person

The successful Business Manager - Incubator will need to build a significant network of contacts in the local business community that can provide a pipeline of potential entrepreneurs, and that will contribute training and mentoring resources. You'll need to develop a stimulating, challenging and informative programme structure and content. Vitally you'll take the leadership role with the Incubator group in delivering a motivational and effective programme. More than anything you will need a track record of success in business that affords you the authority and credibility to lead such a venture.

You will be entrepreneurial in outlook with a strong understanding of SMEs, business finances and investment processes. You will be able to develop strong relationships with external stakeholders as well as the Incubator teams. The role requires high engagement, self-motivation, the ability to work with minimal supervision and a commitment to high standards and Best Practice. We're looking for creativity and an experienced problem-solver who loves taking ownership of ideas and executing on these.

If you have the background, energy and skills to make a success of this role, please forward your CV including your current salary package and availability quoting reference 262351R.
