International Territory Sales Manager

Location: Warwick, UK (Must be prepared to travel internationally)

Position: Full time and Permanent

Salary: £30K -£40K pa OTE

We currently export over 80% of our production and to strengthen our team we require an International Territory Sales Manager. Guthrie Douglas is based in Warwick and we design and manufacture Technical Shading Systems to control heat gain and glare on large glazed buildings, reducing air-conditioning requirements and thereby CO2 emissions. Our systems are employed on projects ranging from airports and shopping centres to offices, museums and galleries worldwide.

If you are qualified to degree level in Sales and Marketing or Engineering and are able to demonstrate a successful background in Project sales (Technical) or Capital plant sales (Machinery), with at least 4 years of prosperous International Sales experience within the Architectural or Construction products industries, then this opportunity could be for you.

The role includes International travel (1 day out of 3);

Key Account management; interpreting applications and understanding architectural specifications and engineering drawings; preparing quotations to meet customer demands and managing projects to completion. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels in English and preferably French, with the ability to understand and discuss technical subjects fluently.

Strong commercial and cultural awareness and organisational skills are essential for this role. Your IT skills will include experience of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics Navision) and the MS Office suite for communications and diary management.
