Trainee Managers – Retail (Entry Level Opportunity) 
Based at Retail Stores throughout Norfolk 
£16,000 Basic + Commission (OTE c£20,000 rising to £25,000 - £30,000 OTE once promoted to Store Manager) 

Our client is an independent mobile phone retailer operating throughout East Anglia. Having started in the mid-1990s they have grown and progressed to boast a number of retail outlets. Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has now arisen for a number of enthusiastic Trainee Managers to join their teams across Norfolk. 

With 22 years’ of award-winning experience behind them, our client is eager to progress their organisation to new heights of excellence. They have blazed a trail through the mobile phone retail market and now need you to help them expand their operations further. 

As a Trainee Manager, you’ll be taught everything you need to know about mobile phone retail, store management and how to succeed in the competitive world of the high-street. 

You’ll undertake initial comprehensive training to provide you with the building blocks you need to develop a successful career with our client. What’s more, you’ll receive ongoing training to ensure you remain on top of your game and abreast of this fast-paced, rapidly changing market. 

After your initial training, you will work at a number of different stores throughout Norfolk covering Store Managers. This variety will equip you with the hands-on skills, experience and knowledge that you will require and every day will be a new adventure. 

With stores in Beccles, Cromer, Fakenham, Gorleston, Holt, Norwich, North Walsham, Thetford, Brandon and Watton, it’s no wonder that our client is seeking ambitious people with an entrepreneurial mindset and plenty of business savvy. You’ll need to be on your toes, eager and enthusiastic. 

Furthermore, there is plenty of potential in these exciting roles. The current Manager of The Year started less than two years ago and has seen their earnings nearly double since then and the structure is designed to promote overachievers first as Manager roles become available. 

So, is this the role for you? If so, to be considered you will need a driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Although no experience is necessary, a retail, sales or customer service background would be looked upon favourably.

As a Trainee Manager, you’ll also need to be ambitious, quick to learn and pick up new skills and full of fresh new ideas. Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite, as is a confident approach and strong presentation abilities.
