CH0410 - Corporate Policy Officer (Poverty)
The Corporate Policy Officer - Poverty will engage with Council services and Community Planning partners to develop, communicate, implement and review corporate policies, strategies and action plans to mitigate the impacts of poverty on people living and working in the Falkirk Council area.
Working with Council services and partners, the post holder will develop outcomes over the short, medium and longer term to monitor the impact of strategies, policies and action plans. Any gaps in service provision will be identified and the post holder will have a key role in taking forward actions to address these gaps.
The post holder will be expected to have an extensive track record of partnership working and developing policies, strategies and action plans within a local authority or similar environment. Experience of leading the development of strategies to address poverty or similar subject area is highly desirable.
This post is temporary until October 2017 due to budget restrictions.
