Juice Hospitality are recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Host/Hostess for a luxury 5* hotel in Berkshire. The main duties will include assisting the Restaurant Manager and his assistants in the organisation and supervision of service in the restaurant, room service department and private dining areas.
Responsibilities include;
To be fully conversant in the usage of the MICROS system
To control the flow of service from the various areas into the restaurant
To manage and optimise lunch and dinner covers through control of the bookings on Open Table, with special attention paid to timing slots and table allocations. To look at future bookings and inform the manager should a session need closing.
The cashiering of bills with care.
Maintain the menus to a high standard of appearance and ensure that the dishes and prices are kept up to date.
Attend all briefings to ensure that you are fully aware of special requests and requirements, VIP's attending and evening special events.
Please be aware that due to the remote location of this exclusive hotel, you will need to have your own transport and a valid driving licence. Live in staff accommodation is offered for the first 4 weeks only, then you would be required to find your own private rental locally.
