With an annual turnover of GBP200m, we are a major force for higher education in the East of England. : About the role: The Faculty of Health, Social Care & Education is continually evolving in response to internal factors including improved resource management and academic processes, and external factors driven by the demands of existing stakeholders as part of the new NHS, as well as developing business partnerships and research interests. Staff are expected to manage their own academic and professional work commitments across department to foster an inter professional interdependent culture. With a degree, you'll be a registered pharmacist with experience of working in health practice and will have awareness of professional and current issues affecting health care in the context of higher education. Ideally you'll have a PhD or Professional Doctorate, if you do not you'll be required to register to undertake one within 18 months of commencing employment.You'll have experience of teaching successfully at HE level. You'll be dedicated to the educational development of professionals and will assist us in developing our research and scholarly activity profile. Consequently, you'll be expected to undertake research and scholarly activity in your specialist field. You'll also be required to contribute to the departmental research strategy and expected outcomes of an academic.
