As a 2nd Line Network Engineer, you’ll be challenged to provide outstanding levels of service to our client’s managed services customer base. 

Working as part of a skilled team, you’ll be fielding support calls and dealing with requests logged through our client’s portal. 

Specifically, you’ll resolve first and second line requests for fixed line, VoIP and data services. You’ll create and test VPNs, complete move, add and change requests and troubleshoot routing and switching issues.

In this exciting role, you’ll be working first hand with our client’s innovative technologies and ensuring customers have the best experience with the company. 

As part of your role, you will take part in an on-call rota to provide support outside of UK business hours. 

Interested? If so, you will need: 

- Good technical experience with an analytical approach to diagnostics 
- A good understanding of how Hunt Pilot, Hunt List and/or Line Groups work 
- A CCNA Routing and Switching qualification

Professional and friendly, as a 2nd Line Network Engineer, you’ll also need excellent customer communication skills, the ability to prioritise effectively and great team working capabilities. The willingness to learn and share your knowledge is key, as is a first time fix mentality and a great telephone manner.
