Our managed services team are based from our offices in St Ives and our data centre facilities in Huntingdon and Northampton and provides a focused range of hosted and cloud services through our extensive portfolio, specifically designed to help customers align their IT functions to their core business requirements.

The IT Service Transitions Coordinator Role:

We are now recruiting for a Transitions Coordinator to join our busy team based from our St Ives office. Working within the Managed Services Team, you will be responsible for the ownership and overseeing the transition of existing repeatable services for our customers.

You will play an integral role in the verification and management of the transitions to ensure they are adopted in the appropriate manner and within a customer / internal teams agreed SLA. This will involve ensuring the validity of requirements that have been captured, making sure they are accurate and sufficiently detailed and that the necessary due diligence has been conducted.

You will then set and manage customer expectations creating full scoping and project plans with key milestones for delivery of services as part of the on boarding process.

You will ensure that service excellence is delivered throughout the transition lifecycle and maintaining the high standards that we are renowned for.

Skills and Experience:

> Experience of managing multiple successful IT infrastructure projects
> Knowledge of platforms, storage, networks and infrastructure in general
> Skilled in managing resources and dependencies from multiple suppliers and third parties
> Good time management 
> Ability to work interactively and flexibly within a focused technical team
> Strong communicator and confident at all levels
> Good customer service skills
> Team player
> Project management skills, ideally PRINCE2 Foundation
> Systems and IT literate, especially in Excel and Project products
> Good understanding of ITIL methodology

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Full Time 8.30am to 5.00pm / Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 (Depending on experience & skills) 
Start date: ASAP
Other: Must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Must have own transport to get between sites and current driving license.

Any offer would be conditional upon the successful candidate passing a full DBS national security vetting process (please see below for more information).

Junior IT Project Manager, IT Service Delivery Coordinator, IT Onboarding Engineer, IT Services Coordinator. IT Infrastructure Projects Coordinator, IT Hosting Engineer, IT Infrastructure Engineer, Managed Services Project Manager, IT Services Coordinator.
