We have an exciting opportunity at Colchester Borough Council for a Web Development Officer to join our team in Colchester. The successful Web Development Officer will join us on a full time, 1 year fixed term contract and will receive a competitive salary of £22,384 - £28,558 per annum.
About the Web Development Officer role
Our current website is clean, accessible and similar to other Local Government websites. However, we want more. We have an ambitious target to redevelop our website and change the way Local Government delivers web services.
To do this we need an innovative Web Development Officer who can take our vision and create a website that redefines how our residents access our services.
What we’re looking for in our Web Development Officer
You will have the usual HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills, but your main love is programming and you’d like the chance to put your skills into practice.
