Location: South West England

Our client is a well-established and expanding Electrical Installation Contractor based in the South West. They work on projects locally and throughout the UK mainly in the Retail, Commercial and Industrial sectors. They are looking for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to work within the retail sector on refrigeration and energy projects. The candidate should ideally be client focussed with excellent communication skills and will be required to maintain and build upon our clients existing client base.
About the Role:
- Responsible for estimating and programming work loads
- Comfortable with reading and understanding drawings, specifications and programmes;
- Working closely with Health and Safety Advisor to issue method statements and risk assessments;
- Communicating and enforcing Health and Safety requirements on site including site safety audits;
- Manage contract costs and variations including procurement;
- Looking after teams of engineers and managing multiple sites throughout the UK
- Ensuring electrical test certification and O&M manuals are completed to a high standard
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects;
- Liaise with clients and staff to ensure productivity and satisfaction
- Report to the companies Director
About the Candidate:
- NIC/EIC Qualifying Manager
- 17th Edition Qualified
- City and Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect qualified or equivalent
- Self-motivated, dedicated and reliable
- Excellent man-management skills due to high pressure environment
- Estimating and design experience would be an advantage
- Must be prepared to travel to sites and work away when required
- It is essential that you are able to work under pressure and within short deadlines
- Excellent stable background throughout career; and
- Full UK Driving Licence.
