Grants Officer

Our client is an independent charity that provides a range of services to reduce social isolation and improve the quality of life for children, young people and adults with autism and their families in Bedfordshire.

They are looking for a highly skilled, experienced and enthusiastic Grants Officer to join their Funding Team to grow their grant income to support their much-needed services.

The Grants Officer will be primarily responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to Trusts and Foundations, and will persuasively communicate the charity???s mission and projects to potential funders. Reporting to the Funding Manager, the Grants Officer will research and identify potential grant funders, assemble and submit grant applications, establish and maintain personal contact and relationships with funders, submit grant reports and maintain a calendar of submissions and other deadlines.

The post-holder will be based in Bedford.

In return, our client is offering a very competitive salary of ??20,700 - ??24,686 pro rata plus 3% stakeholder pension. This role is working 37.5 hours per week but there is some flexibility on total weekly hours for the right candidate.
