FINTEC recruit is seeking a Senior Manager for our client based in Woking, Surrey. This is a permanent role with a salary range of £65,000.00 - £75,000.00 per annum. As a Senior Manager you will be required to manage the client relationships & accounts as well as be responsible for a team of professionals who focus on the client's larger corporate clients including some audit assignments. This is a key role within a strong team and the successful individual will also play a role in supporting the CLIENT'S Training Academy in developing trainee's through the AAT and ACA programs.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Manager your responsibilities will include the following:-

  • Management of client portfolio including: Statutory audits; accounts preparation; general advisory, strategic and tax planning and attend client meetings

  • Supporting, partner led, business development activities

  • Mentoring the team's AAT & ACA trainees holding regular meetings and assisting with objective setting and personal development

  • Managing WIP and monthly billing


The successful candidate for the Senior Manager role will have:-

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (degree not essential)

  • Experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, IFRS, statutory accounts and disclosures

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Effective communicator and relationship builder, Adaptable approach and quick thinker

  • Effective time management skills

  • Passionate about nurturing & developing individuals
