An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Development Manager to join our clients well established, fast growing digital media company based in Brighouse / Elland.
As Sales Development Manager you will be the face of the business, creating a sales function and a true commercial focus. You will predominantly be developing new business, targeting a wide variety of businesses and sectors.
As Sales Development Manager, this role is fully autonomous and will require the successful candidate to have excellent commercial acumen and be a strong new business developer; additionally it will be your responsibility;
• To produce a sales strategy/business plan and create a commercial focus for the business
• To develop new and profitable business opportunities
• To identify new market trends that will maximise the business growth
• To take an active role for the recruitment and management of a sales team
Ideal Candidate
The ideal Sales Development Manager will hold the required experience to thrive within this role
• Significant experience and proven track record in new business development
• You must be a target-driven, pro-active and highly motivated sales professional
• You will be an excellent communicator both written and verbally and have experience presenting at all levels
• You will ideally have experience selling IT solutions/support services/software or any other related industry
• Previous experience managing a sales function or be ready to take that step
