Level 2 Hospitality Services Apprenticeship - The Olive Garden

Want to kick start your career with an exciting Hospitality opportunity? The Olive Garden in Standish are looking for an enthusiastic Front of House Apprentice to work within the fun loving Hospitality Team

From day one you’ll enjoy working in a fun and lively environment supported with tailored training to ensure that you can make the most of your potential. Team members are expected to deliver great customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all of their customers.

This opportunity will help you build your character, develop team build skills and grow your knowledge of the hospitality industry,

Main duties:
•Deliver excellent customer service at all times
•Serve and present food and beverages quickly and efficiently
•Assist in keeping the back and front of house area and facilities clean and tidy
•Speak and check back to customers to ensure they are satisfied with their food
•Recommend and up sell food and drink
•Keep up to date with new products, menus and promotions
•Adhere to company policies and procedures and licensing laws
•Be involved and contribute at all team meetings
•Carry out instructions as given by management
•Support the back of house team in delivering great service

Ours of work are between 30 and 40 hours per week on a shift and rota basis.
All tips are split between all staff on an equal basis and transport home is often available
for team members.

Your hourly rate will be based on your age and pay increases will be available for outstanding work related performance.

The Apprenticeship training for this vacancy will be provided by Runshaw College. As this is a funded Apprenticeship programme, it is not open to candidates who have already achieved a qualification at Level 4 or above.
