Actuarial Data Modeller/Analyst - Reporting/Big Data/Insurance - Top global software provider breaking new ground in Cloud computing and Big data. Based in Birmingham. Paying GBP30k - GBP45k + pension + benefits.

We are looking for an Actuarial Data Modeller/Analyst who is degree educated or part-qualified as an Actuary with a passion for Reporting, Datamodelling & Scripting to work on solutions for the Insurance market. Excellent communication skills required and ability to model/report on data with various techniques. Must have exceptional MS Excel skills with some knowledge of Data/Reporting tools such as SQL, Datamodelling, Big Data, Actuarial reporting, etc. You will be joining a cutting edge provider who are leading the way with innovation in the cloud.

The successful Actuarial Data Modeller/Analyst will have the following:

*Degree educated (Actuarial, Mathematics, Statistics or similar)
*Part qualified Actuary
*Strong experience in Datamodelling/Reporting
*Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel
*Desirable skills including SQL, Big Data, PowerBI, Hadoop, specifically pig - however these can be trained.
*Excellent client facing skills and faultless communication skills.
